Pregnancy comes with a lot of information about tests, results and symptoms — and surprisingly little about how it feels. This site is here for the second part: the worry before a scan, the exhaustion nobody warned you about, the conversations with your partner, your boss and your family, and the quiet work of preparing for birth and for the first weeks with a newborn.
How we write
Every article is written in a calm, non-alarming tone and focuses on what you can actually do: a routine to try, a sentence to say out loud, a way to organise the week, a question to bring to your appointment. We describe psychological techniques and everyday strategies — not diagnoses, dosages or treatment plans.
What we are not
We are not a medical service. Our materials are general information and emotional support and never replace a consultation with your doctor, midwife or a qualified mental health professional. If something worries you about your health or your baby's health, please contact your care team.
What you will find here
The site is organised into five sections: Emotional Wellbeing, Everyday Self-Care, Preparing for Birth, Calm Doctor Visits and Family & First Weeks. Each one is written to be read in a few minutes, in any order you like.
Corrections and feedback
If you spot an inaccuracy, or a sentence that reads as alarming rather than supportive, please tell us — see the contact page. Corrections are made directly in the article.
